3 Signs Your Slipping Into Fear

We all have fear. I’m not talking about fear of death. We have that in order to ensure our survival –  to do our good work here on this Earth.

I’m talking about our daily living.   I coach many women around this topic because it’s hard to recognize the signs that you are slipping into fear-based living. Fear is a slippery energy.

Do you know if you lean in with trust and surrender, or do you lean in with fear?

Here are 3 Signs you could be slipping into fear-based living:

1 – CONTROL

If you like to control your environment and your relationships you may want to look at why you are doing that. If you are operating from a place of fear, you may want to control your surroundings to feel safe or to project that others need to be. Being in control offers more predictability to your mind, and less variability and vulnerability. This could be perceived as strength and efficiency, yet is it really? This leads me to the second topic.

2- TRUST

I have found that when you don’t trust others, you slip into more control. You may not trust because of past fears of being hurt or let down, so its easier for you to control your environment.  I know for me, when someone breaks my trust, its hard to forgive and hard to imagine that person will ever be trustworthy. Yet it is my job to forgive and open the doorway to trust once again. In the meantime, that may look like being in more control and not allowing others to have another shot.

Trust also means trusting yourself and your own decisions as well. If in the past you made decisions that didn’t work out, you may internally judge yourself and not trust you can make a better decision next time or that the outcome could be different. This is living in a limited perception. This doesn’t allow you to fail, or grow, or find a new opportunity. It’s staying in the past fear.

3 – PRESENCE

If you are suffering you are not living in the present. Fear doesn’t live in the present moment.

Here is a great quote one of my clients forwarded to me that I love from Eckhart Tolle:

“All negativity is caused by the accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress and worry – all forms of fear – are cause by too much future and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.”

Now that you see some examples of how it may show up, can you lean into observing your desires to be in control or remain in the past?

A little bit of fear is healthy, don’t get me wrong.  This will help to not always repeat our past. We can use our fear to help us to create and uphold strong healthy boundaries and it also teaches us discernment.

The best way to move the dial into more trust and vulnerability is to continually ask yourself, “Am I acting from a place of love or from a place of fear?”.

P.S. If you need any support with conquering fears in your life, please feel free to reach out for support.  Here’s what Margaret had to say after she went through the “Unleash the Priestess Within” 12-week program to work on her fear/control.

My biggest takeaway in this program with you is that I can make choices out of strength versus operating in fear. I realized through this program and the healing work that I was unable to name and acknowledge what wasn’t working in a few areas of my life.  I was not linking my current inactions with the fear and old belief systems that stemmed from my childhood. For me the healing work,  journaling, mantras and guided visualizations like the womb healing and chord cutting helped me to release stuck emotions, shift my awareness and move me beyond these realizations to take actions based on courage and awareness. I describe this as actionable therapy. This has been a very healing journey for me that will continue to create more changes in my life. Thank you! ~Margaret

A Synchronicity Story: Facing Money Fear!

How often do you find yourself on the edge of wondering, “How on Earth is this going to work out?”

What do you do when you find yourself doubting your intuition?

Do you experience indecision and procrastination or power, trust and courage?

**

I want to share with you my amazing synchronicity story that has become a powerful lesson for me in trusting my intuition confidently and overcoming fears around money and lack of support.

This is about money + support showing up at just the right time!

**

Life gives us infinite opportunities to practice our inner work.

It never ceases to amaze me.

I knew this year was going to be one of major changes and transitions, so in preparation I really committed to my self-care practices – moon cycle intention setting, journaling, coaching, breathwork, yoga and others.

I knew that making this a priority for me was going to be key to getting grounded versus being in old stories of overwhelm or fear.

I also knew that it would put me in touch with the whisperings of my heart and Spirit.

My son’s father and I made a conscious choice to separate our living situation this January 2019, after moving into the same house to support each other and our son’s move to a new state (LA to OR).

I felt in my whole being that this was the right decision for us to start 2019 with a clean slate, but the timing was tricky. It was December and I was gone traveling half the month.

I put some roommate postings out at the beginning of December.

Crickets…

I put some more out mid Dec.

Crickets…

I knew something was in resistance and then left for a vacation with my family.

I let my time with my family be one of presence.

I watched my ego and fear slip in and try and take me down around fear, money and overwhelm.

This time, I didn’t let it.

I said to myself, “I’m going to trust my intuition and that this is in Divine alignment.”

When I returned from my family vacation, I revised the postings slightly.

No responses!

I had to pay the whole rent for January 1st, $2030.

Yikes!

To my surprise, I didn’t freak out. In fact, I felt really grounded.

I trusted that this decision was what needed to happen.

In meditation, I kept feeling that everything was good.

I asked Spirit in meditation to keep me grounded and anchored.

I felt this was an opportunity to trust and to not let myself dip into fear.

I got the next whispering about what to do next.

***

Once again, I put out more postings this time arranging it slightly differently based on a meditaiton I had and a clearer intention.

I got the perfect roommate for one of the rooms.

She could move in for part of January.

I prorated her rent $177 for the last few weeks of Jan so I got some of my Jan rent back!

Still short a roommate and was surprised about having to pay $1500 in rent for Feb? Hmm?

YET here’s the kicker and the amazing part!

I get a call from my business partner, there is a check in the mail that looks like a claims settlement and should he open it. I laughed because any time I’ve gotten one of these its been like a dollar.

Well, guess what?

It was $847!

Prorate from new roommate for Jan = $177
Claims check of  = $847
= $1024

RENT that MY CO-PARTNER was PAYING ME MONTHLY!

Soooo….January ended up getting paid for (just not in the way I EXPECTED, lol).

That same day, I found a roommate for the second room.

She was a friend and co-worker of my first roommate, ready to move in by Feb 1st.

The amazing part is that in the end, I didn’t lose any money in the process of making the shift and finding roommates.

I GAINED SO MUCH MORE!

I gained trust in my intuition.

I made a clear choice.

I listened.

I didn’t get overwhelmed or in fear.

I took the actions I was informed to take by Spirit.

I made conscious choices instead of fearful ones.

And the Divine and I co-created this masterful exercise to help me integrate this into my being at a deep level!

**

I have made commitments to myself this year that have dropped me into deeper layers of healing and forgiveness AND such a stronger connection with Spirit guides and my Higher Self.

My meditation practice anchors me in such connection and support from the unseen realms.

What I recognize now is that the consistency, practice, discipline, accountability, and responsibility offer me the stability and foundation needed to trust and make great choices.

Next time you make a choice and a commitment watch your subconscious programming around things like fear, money, and lower chakra tendencies.

It’s an opportunity to challenge your growing edge, do your inner work and step into your power!!

**

PS…If you need any support or want to learn how to get to this level of understanding setup a discovery call so you can learn tools to bust through your old programming head on!

3 Steps to Develop Trust in Yourself

Trust is big word.

Do you know what it means?

In the dictionary it’s defined as a ‘firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.’

So I looked up the word, “belief”.

In the dictionary its defined as to ‘accept (something) as true; feel sure of the truth of.’

So trust can be defined as, “a firm acceptance of the truth in the reliability, ability, or strength of someone (ourselves or another) or something.”

When clients come to me for healing and coachign, they admit they have a hard time trusting themselves and others.

If looking at the above definition you might ponder, what in their lives created a wavering in their reliability, ability or strength?

I say, the belief in the ego experience.

Your beliefs systems are a product of your childhood environment. You accept the opinions and attitudes of your parents, childhood friends and society. You ingest behaviors.

The ego is an artificial sense of who you are. It’s an idea based on other people’s opinions. You begin to believe this is who you are and and then think of yourself in this way.

You have a hard time accepting the truth about yourself as a reliable, strong, and powerful creator.  Yet, your true essence is Love – limitless, boundless, and free.

You believe so deeply in this Ego identity that you cannot often see your True Self.

The ego in and of itself is neither good or bad; it just is. It’s a stage in our development that serves its purpose…it needs to be progressively shed in favor of the re-emergence of our true self from the mists of childhood. ~Shefali Tsabary, PhD.

You are now witnessing the societal collective egoic programs that have been running for a long, long time that say, “you are not enough”.

You are awakening and remembering the non-dual truth of Love, yet you live in the nature of dualism, ego and lack consciousness.

You are undergoing a big shift – understanding the Divinity in all things and seeing yourself in the other.

You are beginning to understand that you have the ability to bring God intelligence into manifest.

You are witnessing that you impact “the other” greatly and that you have this innate power and intelligence inside of you.

How can you step forward into trust?

Or as defined above, change your beliefs to become ‘firm in the reliability, truth, ability or strength of yourself and the other?

This brings me to the Yoga Sutras and the concept of Kriya Yoga.

Kriya Yoga is what is said to release our suffering that is rooted in self-ignorance (ego which keeps us separate) and lead us to Self-realization/God.

Kriya Yoga is also referred to as the concept of “skill in action”.

Creating “skill in action” has three steps.

These are 3 Steps that will help you develop trust in the other and yourself:

1) Discipline/Self-Purification/Heat/Body ” – Tapas = Strength

2) Self Study/Reflection/Mind – Svadhyaya   = Reliability

3) Devotion/Surrender to God/Soul – Isvara Pranidhana = Truth

You can become trusting of yourself when you do your inner work.

You can show yourself how to build strength in your body, by purifying and practicing and disciplining yourself. Through a physical practices like yoga, you can start to overcome the stories and beliefs of your limited mind.

When you self-reflect, you discover reliability through making conscious choices and closing the gap on your subconscious programs through self-awareness. Yoga has been defined as bringing the subconscious to the conscious and creating union. This way you take ownership for yourself and control the monkey mind. You become aware of our reactivity, judgments, and ego and become discerning and responsible.

When you surrender to a spiritual belief system that all is Divine, Love and in Perfect Order then you release a lot of the pain and suffering that feeds the Ego of separation. When you surrender to the beauty of all as equal under the eyes of God, then you can see the truth that Love flows through you as YOU.

This is a mind-body-spirit approach to developing trust in yourself and the other.

I will share a testimonial from a client who went through my Unleash the Priestess Within + Thrive integrative healing and coaching program.

This is what it feels like to develop trust in yourself!

I had no idea what to expect from this program, but I believed in Nicole and her ability to help me find whatever it was I was looking for. I needed a guide, someone who was spiritual but also successful and pragmatic in her approach to healing. I recognized all of my own potential and saw glimpses of who I could become, but felt as though I was somehow preventing myself from acting on this potential. Envisioning the life I could have made me happy, but I was depressed about feeling disconnected from the path that would guide me there. I was stuck and I needed help. My intentions for the program were vague: I wanted to be happy with my work, I wanted to accept myself as I am, and I wanted to get rid of my attachments to past experiences. Through my work with Nicole, these intentions became clear and powerful. Exploring what happiness means to me, who I am, and what experiences I was holding onto gave me a greater sense of self-awareness and a greater appreciation for the experiences of others as well. I am more accepting of myself, which naturally has led to a greater feeling of connection with and acceptance of the world around me. Once this was realized, everything else had a tendency to fall into place. This program was challenging, but I am left feeling proud of myself for taking a risk and investing in something that has essentially granted me freedom. I would recommend Nicole’s program to anyone who is looking to take back her power and move beyond whatever self-imposed barriers are keeping her from following the path that was meant for her. ~ Misa, Coaching Client

2105: The Year of Infinity

WATCH MY YOU TUBE VIDEO

Happy New Year!

What a year it’s been already! 2015 is the Year of Infinity! It’s about BELIEVING, KNOWING, getting comfortable with UNCERTAINTY and TRUST. It’s ACTIVATION time light workers! Get ready.

In the Law of Attraction we talk about setting off Rockets of Desire. When you set off rockets of desire with the Purest of your heart’s intentions the Universe co-conspires with you to Create and Manifest. Our job is to be in a State of Alignment with Source so that we can receive the Great Blessings that are to come without Resistance. The Universe is working in the field of Infinite Possibilities. Our Third Dimensional Minds want to figure everything out and Control how all things will show up and appear based on past circumstances and evidence. The fact is – that that’s the Past and that’s old news!

The New Earth and New Thinking is to set off your desires (and really let ’em rip), Surrender and Believe. Know that the Universe is working with you for the Highest Good of You and for all of humanity. Any challenges that come your way are gifts to help you come more fully into alignment with your Higher Self.

When you practice this New Thinking and really Believe, you will be absolutely amazed at what appears! One of the main obstacles that you need to watch is the Ego. When you actually receive these Blessings, watch your Ego struggle and create Chaos in its disbelief!

This is what is happening right now in the World. Chaos. From Chaos we find New Order. Destruction and restructuring is happening around the entire planet. (Watch this video from Deepak Chopra‘s Down the Rabbit Hole series.)

According to Guru Singh, an enlightened Kundalini Master teacher, the year of 2015 is the Year of Infinity, or 8 (2+0+1+5). We moved into the Age of Aquarius and the true Ascension has begun. Have you seen all the shifts since 2012?

The year of Infinity is going to be about BELIEVING and KNOWING and getting comfortable with UNCERTAINTY. Nothing in life is certain. We must believe and KNOW ultimately that all of what is occurring is for the benefit of humankind and ourselves all set to the Divine Plan. We must TRUST!! Everything is happening according to a Divine Plan.

According to The Power Path, the theme for January is ACTIVATION!

“The year starts off with an intense period of release and initiation and a push from spirit to get all your ducks in a row. As we move from the more organized influences of 2014 into the chaos, creativity and destruction of 2015, it will be truly useful to take charge of what is being activated in your life, especially this month. This is not the month to be passive, apathetic or be waiting for someone else to solve what is not working in your life. This is a month to be disciplined about your boundaries and to step into your own creative power of choice around what gets activated and how.”

Get Activated! Set your heart’s desires on FIRE!
