WTF?…Love & Light!

It’s time to wake up and get real raw!

One of my favorite comedians to date is JP Sears who pokes fun at the spiritual community for being “ultra spiritual”. He points out what I call spiritual bypassers – those that have made spirituality trendy and cool and have bypassed their inner work.

The spiritual community in LA can feel like people are just blowing a lot of “love and light” up people’s asses. There are loads of people running around offering their ‘healing energy’ without ever taking a moment to heal or look at themselves in the mirror. WTF?

What we don’t process becomes the unconscious at play in all areas of our life and the human collective. We need to own our shit and get real. How long do you plan on hiding?

It’s not funny anymore to pretend your shit don’t stink.  It’s not cool anymore to be dimming your light. It’s not appropriate anymore to tip toe around subjects that need addressing. It’s not helpful to say something other than what you mean. It’s not OK to avoid uncomfortable subjects. It’s time to let people disagree with you and to get into dialogue (check out my organic banana post and how absolutely people disagree with me!).

It’s time to wake up and take action in co-creation with Pure Consciousness. We don’t have time to sit back and wait for the Universe to save us.

There is a lot of chaos in the world on the macro scale, and this is purely a reflection of the inner turmoil that is ours to own and a reflection of the inner chaos. What we are seeing is the belly of the dragon – the unconscious masculine and feminine energies up for serious review.  It’s not time to ignore your role in all of it.

Here are the types of questions and statements that we can start probing ourselves with:

  • How do you back up your love and light claims?
  • Describe the consistent practices in your life that scare you.
  • Name the ways that you get out of your comfort zone.
  • In what ways do you give up your power?
  • What are you willing to let go of?
  • How are you leaking your energy?
  • When do you not speak your truth?
  • Who are you proving yourself to and comparing yourself with?
  • What bad habits do you hold that you can’t manage to break?
  • In what ways do you allow the virus of “I’m too busy” to control your life?
  • Can you describe what it feels like to believe there is no money or time available?
  • Who is your scapegoat?
  • When do you not speak up out of fear of rejection?
  • What are you doing in your life with intention?
  • Who is keeping you in a box?
  • What roles do you play that bring you out of alignment?
  • How do you ask for support?
  • What is your purpose on this Earth and who are you helping?
  • What are you doing with your gifts in service to humanity?
  • How do you love and nurture yourself?
  • In what ways do you practice compassion?

I’m on a roll, but you get the picture.  There is a deep inquiry here. Being spiritual is not a trend. It’s not a reality TV show. This is about doing the work internally, so you can help the others that are not awake, pop. We are talking about saving humanity and the planet.

About Your Guide

My name is Nicole.

I’m here to share my proven methodology to empower you to close the gap on your subconscious programming, unleash your priestess power and actualize your visions.

For over 10 years I’ve been studying, teaching and mentoring with highly respected teachers in the US and Peru. I’ve worked with thousands of students and clients over this time in their healing process.

As a survivor of abuse and sexual trauma, I’ve come to understand through my own deep healing journey that we all have very specific core wounds programs in our subconscious mind that we need to work through with attention, accountability, compassion, sincerity, and love.

I’ve become highly adept sensitive and intuitive through this journey and thus very skilled at customizing programs with incredibly transformational results.

My Values, Commitments & Future Self

As you may have been reading about my journey in my last few blogs, I’m in the process of finishing up two life coaching courses that are powerfully opening me up to my Divine Feminine and helping me to let go of some old programming.

Thank you to Violet Lange’s The Pleasure Path and The Feminine Power 7 Week Essential Course For the Awakening Woman by Dr. Claire Zammit from Evolving Wisdom.

I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for so much support, really honoring that this is the path of the feminine. It feels so good to be seen and accepted and to have so many woman in my life that are just bad ass goddesses!

I have many POWER STATEMENTS that I’ve written throughout these courses and this is my favorite recently!

“My very existence is more than enough to be worthy of being loved, supported, safe and respected. I am a radiant, powerful goddess. I hold the light and expansion of my awareness in every cell of my being. I am a unique design ready to up-level and express my gifts. False Identities, Deeper Truths & Power

If you’ve been reading about my journey (connect with my past few blogs), I’m in a space of incredibly deep self-healing. For years I’ve been doing lineage work to discover more about myself and how I operate in relatedness to my experiences growing up, but now I’m in recognition that the final stage of this is to turn fully toward and lean into myself as the true creator of my whole human experience.  This is the Path of Feminine Power.

I’m in two coaching courses that are powerfully co-stepping me into this work:  Violet Lange’s The Pleasure Path and The Feminine Power 7 Week Essential Course For the Awakening Woman by Dr. Claire Zammit from Evolving Wisdom.

Any time I wish to blame, victimize or see the downturns in my life as outside of me, I need to take ownership, accountability and responsibility for the stories I’ve been running that are creating the energy that attract the same patterns out of familiarity and evidence to support them.

As I have been re-connecting with the concept of pleasure, surrender, receptivity, desire, softening, gentleness, and loving kindness – the Divine Feminine – I’m healing the hurt parts of me and stepping into my power and seeing what scripts I’ve been playing that are running as a result of the pain I’ve been storing.

My false identities are: I am not good enough, not safe, unworthy and invisible.

In this story, I find that I avoid people socially and avoid deep connections. I forgo my ability to receive love, support and intimacy. This makes me feel isolated, unaccepted and unloved. I’m seeing how little I self-love and how judgemental and critical I am toward myself.

In the Feminine Power course we talk about DEEPER TRUTHS beneath the stories.

The Deeper Truth is that I have a huge well of love that I’m yearning to share and it feels so big that I’m actually frightened of unleashing it!!!  I long for deep intimate relationships and to build loving, supportive community. I’m valuable and my needs matter. I am beautiful, protected, and accepted.

My POWER STATEMENT (this is mutable and will change through the course, but feels ripe in the moment) is:

I am loved and lovable. I have an immense well of love that I am here to offer humanity.  I am accepted, beautiful, wise and enough. My desires and needs are top priority. I am intuitive and as such I can create and source safety for myself. I am open to receiving what life has to offer in love, support, guidance and abundance. I build deep intimate relationships and loving, supportive community. I am valuable and my needs matter. I am presencing myself and impacting people’s lives.

Ahhh, that feels so good to say, write and FEEL.

I am learning to get in touch with my wide range of emotions as a woman (embodying the vastness of the ocean as my mantra) and to not hide them. I  learned today from Violet that I can welcome my variety of thoughts in this way as well. I have been in a very masculine energy battle in my mind between my ‘negative’ and ‘positive’ perceptions. We concluded that the feminine way would be to embrace the negative thoughts as well as the positive ones as the vastness of the ocean. And, viewing the criticisms or judgements through the lens of the little me protecting and sheltering myself from pain. Now the bigger me can thank that part of myself in its final gasps and merge into my higher potential.

I feel so much more in tune with myself than I ever have. I’m just so excited to share this path with my clients! My healings have been so dynamic, juicy and powerful as a result of all this work.

Goddess Solstice New Moon Cacao Ceremony (Women Only)

The dim light of the Solstice New Moon is a perfect time to set new intentions. Join us as we come together in the sacred hoop of sisterhood to heal and activate the power of the Divine Feminine through the use of Shamanic rituals and sacred ceremonial Cacao medicine!

This is an opportunity to open ourselves up to these emotional and receptive energies and heal our old patterns, limiting beliefs and ancestral traumas so that we may move into alignment with our Authentic Selves and True Nature as healers and custodians of the Mother Earth!

We hold impeccable sacred healing space for our participants so they may dive as deeply as they need in order to release what comes up.

Before doing our deep healing work, we will experience the powerful healing properties of raw, organic, blessed ceremonial Cacao. Some of the main benefits of Cacao medicine are increasing of euphoric feelings that can overcome stress and anxiety, accompanied by an opening of the heart chakra.

It’s also an extremely beneficial superfood with high levels of antioxidants, Omega 6 fatty acids and the amino acids tryptophan and serotonin. So you know you will leave feeling really delicious!

Once we activate ourselves with this magical heart-opening medicine, we will be led through a powerful ceremony which will include intention setting, breathwork, ritual, meditation, chanting and Shamanic medicine music for a closing sound bath.

Nicole Doherty is a 500-RYT YogaWorks Certified teacher, Shamanic Reiki energy and sound healer, wellness coach, singer and writer. She is honored to have studied with world-renowned thought leaders in the areas of yoga, meditation, voice, subtle body, Reiki, shamanism, nutrition and life coaching. Nicole spent most of her adult life on an extensive spiritual inquiry that empowered her to overcome multiple traumas in her life. The biggest and most profound discovery on this path to wholeness was through the medicine work. Nicole began her Shamanic studies in Peru in 2011 at the Temple of the Way of Light in the Shapibo tradition of the Peruvian Amazon and made a lifetime vow to be service of the medicine. Since she has been facilitating ceremonies and has dieted master plants in Peru with Don Benigno & Don Guido. As a channel of love, light and joy, Nicole’s dharma is to inspire others to heal and to help them discover their highest potential.

Lauren Armstrong is an E-RYT 200 Yoga Challenger, Light Coach, Shamanic Reiki Healer, Singer, Comedienne and Writer. While studying for her Master of Fine Arts in Acting she discovered yoga and breathwork, which inspired her to dig deeper into her own spiritual existence. She moved to Los Angeles and was immediately enamored of the health-conscious, light-hearted, yet deeply spiritual community residing here. She wrote and starred in a podcast about the joys of making healthy, wholesome food taste delicious called The Foodiegasm Podcast She went on to study Power Vinyasa Yoga at Earth’s Power Yoga with Steven Earth Metz, and has been teaching yoga ever since. Lauren studied Reiki and Shamanic healing practices with shamans trained in the Shipibo tradition in Peru, learning how to guide others through trauma and stuck energy to bring about deep healing. She has led workshops such as The Sacred Art of Play, Improvisation for Presence, Goddess Full Moon Gatherings, Storytelling Circles and Shamanic Breathwork Ceremonies. She believes that the Power of Love and the Oneness of All can be easily brought to light through song, story and laughter.
